We make investments in change

GiftCards4Change.com is dedicated to maximizing its community involvement and impact for meaningful change. We collect, combine, and liquidate gift cards through relationships with merchants, corporate sponsorship programs, and third party vendors to maximize the value of your remaining gift card balance. In some cases we are able to double and triple the value of your donated card with donor match programs, and local community initiatives. Our goal is to create maximum impact on serving the needs of local communities, and no donation is too small to create a positive change on our site. GiftCards4Change has created a local community (need based) model of charitable giving using gift cards but we deeply care about the larger cause based initiatives that help change lives. Therefore, GiftCards4Change focuses a great deal of effort and the money it raises on specific types of projects. Our main focus in on health care for the Las Vegas Community.

GiftCards4Change actively funds efforts and fellow change makers in the following areas

Health Care Assistance Programs

Health care is one of the most costly and difficult to navigate spaces for insured, uninsured, and underinsured patients. GiftCards4Change believes that quality health care should be available for all. We also are aware there is a majore disconnect between patients and providers. While patients are suffering, many well trained providers have excess capacity and can do greater good for more patients and many are happy to use their talent and training to make the world a better place, one patient at time. Poor health or economic barriers are two of the biggest obstacles to opportunity advancement in communities. Our commitment towards equalizing opportunity means that we fund many types of community engagement, and outreach programs that serve to subsidize the disparity of opportunity in less affluent areas and communities. With that said, we currently don’t have the funds or resources to help the masses. If you are a philanthropist or share our objective, please reach out to help.

Poverty Assistance Programs

GiftCards4Change believe that poverty is one of the biggest obstacles to opportunity advancement in the United States. Our commitment towards equalizing opportunity means that we fund many types of community engagement, and outreach programs that serve to subsidize the disparity of opportunity in less affluent areas and communities.

Education Advancement Projects

The number one way out of poverty is through a quality education and GiftCards4Change actively funds scholarship programs and education advancement initiatives for those who are marginalized or otherwise could not afford it.

Human Trafficking Assistance Programs & Services

Human Trafficking is in every country around the world and must be stopped. This modern day version of slavery is perverse and an indictment of humanity and compassion. GiftCards4Change knows that it cannot stop this on its own, but we fund programs across the United States than seek to eliminate child prostitution, slavery, and servitude.

Family & Child Hunger Programs

GiftCards4Change knows that a child can’t learn if the child is hungry. Today, many children show up for school with only a secondary motive to learn and a primary concern for a meal. We are also aware that many families live on the border of poverty and that a job loss or lapse in pay can leave a family homeless, and a child starving. That is why GiftCards4Change funds projects to assist in combating child and family hunger.

Homelessness & Shelter Projects

Many people struggle to survive and live on the brink. GiftCards4Change understands that a family may only be 1 hardship or decision away from homelessness and we work hard every day to fund programs that help people in the time of their greatest need, and give them a helping hand in re stabilizing their lives.

Disability Service Assistance Programs

GiftCards4Change believes that disability does not mean someone is incapable of leading a rich, happy, and fulfilling life… it means that they may need help and who in this world doesn’t? GiftCards4Change looks to fund programs that actively assist wounded veterans, the elderly, and those impacted by debilitating medical conditions.

Projects we care about

Warm Hearts Project

GiftCards4Change. focuses on using specific donated retailer gift cards to buy shoes, clothing, blankets, and bedding for children in need, the homeless, and individuals that are struggling with day to day needs. We work closely with shelters, religious institutions, and other nonprofits in our local communities to create change.

Toys 4 Joy Project

TOYS 4 JOY focuses on using specific merchant gift cards to buy toys for children in need on their birthdays and holidays. When you donate a Toys R Us card to us you can rest assured that it is being used to buy toys for children in need. We also purchase toys for children who are in hospitals for extended periods.

Hunger Projects

GiftCards4Change.com focuses on providing food to children and their families in local communities all across America. We appropriate many of the grocery retailer gift cards donated to specifically help feed children in local schools, purchase food for families during the holidays, and help replenish local food banks

Warm Hearts Disability Projects

GiftCards4Change, focuses on using specific donated retailer gift cards to buy appliances, lumber for ramps, and assistive devices for individuals that are struggling with their day to day needs. We work closely with Habitat for Humanity, and local hardware retailers, to maximize community impact.
